ForeFlight, a Boeing company and leading provider of aviation software, announced Aero Systems will expand its training program’s use of ForeFlight solutions for students in Asia and Australia.

As part of the agreement, Aero Systems Pty Ltd and its sister company Aerosim (HK) Limited, will nearly double its use of ForeFlight Mobile and add several new ForeFlight products – formalized ForeFlight training, Flight Data Analysis, and ForeFlight’s powerful debriefing tools – into its aviation training practices.

Flight Data Analysis provides Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) and flight data management for operators. While typically used in business and commercial settings, AeroSystems will use this powerful tool within the education sector. By harnessing detailed analytics, instructors can gain a comprehensive overview of student progress – individually and as a whole. Students will also receive individualized reports after every simulated or actual flight, complete with a total Flight Score based on a sophisticated analysis of their individual maneuvers and overall performance during the flight.

AeroSystems will also enhance its offerings by incorporating ForeFlight’s training solutions into its systems and curriculum. Hundreds of students will receive extensive training provided by ForeFlight, which includes overviews and demonstrations of how to use every part of ForeFlight Mobile, which aids in their training and helps them learn ForeFlight long before entering the workforce. After completing an assessment, students receive a certificate of completion from ForeFlight.

"ForeFlight has been transformative for our training programs. The integration of ForeFlight's comprehensive suite of training and debriefing tools has significantly enhanced the quality and efficacy of our services. These tools not only provide instructors with detailed insights into each student's performance but also prepare our students with the advanced skills necessary for today’s competitive aviation industry. The opportunity to deepen our use of ForeFlight technologies represents a strategic advantage, ensuring students are industry-ready and ahead of technological curves.” said Mattis Tsang, Managing Director of AeroSystems.

“Aero Systems is a leading innovator in training the next generation of pilots,” said Tim Schuetze, CEO of ForeFlight. “Using ForeFlight and our training solutions in a simulated environment will help ensure their students enter real-world training and the job market with applicable expertise in the world’s leading electronic flight bag.”
