LAS VEGAS | October 17, 2023 – During the 2023 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition, ForeFlight, a Boeing Company, announced the signing of an agreement with Jet Aviation, a global business aviation service provider, to adopt ForeFlight’s flight planning solutions across its aircraft management operation.

The agreement builds upon Jet Aviation’s current utilization of Boeing’s digital solutions, including Jeppesen charts, NavData and FliteDeck Pro, by introducing ForeFlight Dispatch as the primary flight planning platform for Jet Aviation.

ForeFlight Dispatch’s next-generation flight planning and collaboration features elevate a flight department’s day-to-day workflow by centralizing all flight planning on a single platform. From basic domestic flights to complex international trips with stringent route constraints, ForeFlight Dispatch produces EUROCONTROL-valid routes with speed and flexibility.

Planners using Dispatch quickly discover how much time and effort they save thanks to the system’s automation capabilities, including flexible operational rules for adapting Dispatch to unique operational needs. Finished flight plans are transmitted to pilots directly in ForeFlight Mobile in seconds, complete with detailed briefing documents for them to review right away.

“We are excited to strengthen our relationship with Jet Aviation,” said Tim Schuetze, CEO of ForeFlight. “With its global presence and diverse fleet, Jet’s embrace of ForeFlight Dispatch demonstrates significant foresight as the future of business aviation relies on seamlessly integrated, cloud-based solutions. We’re excited to continue our work with the Jet Aviation team to deliver exceptional value to their operation and pilots.”

"ForeFlight Dispatch represents another important step in our global aircraft management technology journey,” says David Best, senior vice president and general manager the Americas. “The tool allows us to provide increased visibility on flight data for both the planner and the pilot, automating many parts of the process and integrating into a crew app and the aircraft software to provide a seamless plan. Using one tool across our global network ensures that our teams are more easily able to collaborate to provide an effortless experience for our crews, wherever they fly with Jet Aviation. We are excited to embark on this journey with ForeFlight and look forward to building on this initial launch and continuing to integrate features across our network.”
