Flight Planning
The airport menu option provides a powerful search interface for planners to access airport information quickly. Users can search for airports using various criteria such as name, code, city, or country, retrieving comprehensive details about each location. The tab also displays the 25 most recently viewed airports, creating an efficient navigation experience for frequently searched locations. This feature reduces search time and cognitive load by offering instant access to destination information, making it particularly valuable for flight planners. By combining intuitive search capabilities with a dynamic recent destinations list, the airport menu option streamlines the process of gathering and referencing critical airport-related information.
The tab, available to all active users, is located on the left side menu on ForeFlight Web. See the airport tab on plan.foreflight.com.
