Flight Planning
Flight planners can now optimize expenses with the new cost estimation feature in ForeFlight Dispatch. While editing a flight, planners can view the estimated flight cost under the performance section on the right-hand side, just above the map. To ensure accuracy, dry operating costs must be set for each aircraft, and average fuel prices should be entered for the organization. Dispatch also automatically incorporates overflight charges using Jeppesen's extensive database.
Note: If dry operating costs have not been set within the “Aircraft” tab, a warning will show underneath the “Performance” drop down.
